Reflections arises from a minimal gesture: a single motif, brief and unadorned, which serves as the material for the entire piece. There is no intention here to narrate, suggest images, or capture moods. Sound is presented in its immediate presence, and the music develops from its own internal relationships: repetition, variation, superimposition, and transformation. Throughout the work, this motif reappears from different perspectives, as if observed through multiple reflective surfaces.

The five voices of the quintet function as meeting spaces: sometimes reinforcing, sometimes distorting, sometimes fragmenting the initial material. What emerges is not a linear discourse, but a network of sonic relationships built collectively. Each voice preserves its autonomy, yet finds meaning in its relationship with the others — in a continuous balance between individuality and the whole. In this sense, Reflections does not propose a closed expressive content.

Listening is not guided by an external meaning, but constructed in the very act of listening. Each listener finds—or projects—their own path, also becoming part of this transitory unity created between the sound, the performers, and the listener.
