Inspired by the “Roaring Twenties” this piece for soloist clarinet aims to highlight the instrumentalist’s technical approach and his ability to improvise. However, it is Buddy Rich and his work Channel 1 Suite that inspired the rhythmic richness of this piece marked by the speed and talent that characterized him.

Growing up represents the evolution of human life through the soloist’s performance withGrowing up represents the evolution of human life through the soloist’s performance withsoprano, alto and tenor saxophones. During the concert it will be possible to observe the gradualgrowth of the instruments, both in size and sound.This evolution represents the various stages of human life.
